Ensuring that your brand is not watered down.

B&B has compiled a range of label papers that is particularly apt for presenting every kind of water with its own, individual face – the WaterLabelWorld.

Niklasdorf, November 2006

Water has to be presented in all clarity to the consumer in the information overload of our society. It is through the label and the packaging that the character and its brand make their mark on public awareness.

Among the water types available, we find characteristics ranging from still to effervescent and revitalising, some providing a feeling of well-being, others promoting good health, some unique, some neutral. These properties can only be experienced on consuming the product; but the label communicates the information beforehand and thus becomes the major marketing tool. In the process we cannot dispense with the great diversity of label material; after all, it supports the very features that are also reflected in the design.

Label materials that are particularly exciting through their very essence are ideally suitable for design where differentiation potential is required. These include Alukett Spezial Fashion in the B&B range, or those remarkable for softness, such as Niklakett Medium Fashion, a superlative example demonstrating this property, or the health and back-to-nature aspect as supremely exemplified through NiklaConcept. The B&B WaterLabelWorld label range gives the label designer a unique prop for his work.

B&B were presenting the WaterLabelWorld range at this year’s Brau Beviale in Nuremberg and the Salon d'Emballages in Paris.

The stand also gave the chance to observe labelling conditions on an all-round labelling system with NiklaPet, a label paper specially developed for PET plastic bottles.

Besides the new label range for water, soft drinks and water-based drinks, B&B is also offering a special beer and wine label range.

The PackPro range has been designed for use in the flexible retail packaging sector.

B&B specialises in the production of label paper and flexible packaging paper, and is among the world’s leading players in this product segment.

The company is based in two locations, one in Austria in Niklasdorf and one in Slovenia near Ljubljana; papers are manufactured in these two factories almost exclusively for these special applications.

The company employs around 600 people in both locations.
