The paper industry continues to face increases in the cost of pulp, chemicals and energy. Added to this we also have the strengthening of the US Dollar and as most of our raw materials are purchased in Dollars, then this affects us directly and immediately.
Brigl & Bergmeister has no option but to pass on these higher costs and are therefore announcing an increase in selling price of 6%-8% for all despatches from 1st July.
As Europe’s leading producer of label and flexpack papers, Brigl have a responsibility to guarantee continued supplies to all its customers. This price increase is absolutely necessary for Brigl.
